Exciting developments are taking shape near Kildare Town, as work begins on a new agri-tourism glamping and cycling business in the Tully East area. Located close to the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens, this venture aims to offer visitors a unique rural retreat while promoting eco-tourism and outdoor activities.

What’s Planned?

The project, which was granted planning permission by Kildare County Council, will feature:
A converted stable block transformed into a two-bedroom glamping pod.
Three additional one-bedroom glamping pods, providing cosy and sustainable accommodation.
Bicycle storage facilities, encouraging visitors to explore Kildare’s scenic countryside on two wheels.
A certified organic livestock farm, offering guests a hands-on experience of sustainable farming.
An existing well, ensuring a natural water supply for the site.

Boost for Local Eco-Tourism

This new glamping and cycling destination is expected to attract nature lovers, cyclists, and eco-conscious travellers looking for a sustainable getaway. Its close proximity to some of Kildare’s most famous attractions will also add to the area’s growing reputation as a leading destination for agri-tourism and outdoor recreation.
